TRIRIGA's Commitment to Accessibility
In 1998, Congress amended the Rehabilitation Act to require "federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities". Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), provides guidelines to help ensure that electronic and information technology can be used effectively by people with disabilities.
TRIRIGA's strategic product direction includes full compliance with section 508 by developing products that are usable and accessible by individuals with disabilities. TRIRIGA integrates accessibility into the product development process from design to testing. TRIRIGA conducts regular assessments to ensure that its products meet applicable accessibility requirements, provides accessibility awareness training to application developers and quality assurance engineers based on applicable Section 508 requirements to ensure accessible support and continually tests its products' compatibility with existing assistive technologies.
